The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) is the project that was announced by the Malaysian Prime Minister, DS Najib in September 2010. It proposed to connect Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru with Singapore. On 19 February 2013, Malaysia and Singapore had officially agreed to build a high-speed rail link between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore by 2020 at a meeting between Malaysian's Prime Minister DS Najib Razak and Singapore's Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore.
