the Malay Peninsular and the Island of Borneo. Malaysia have 14 state which can

So, we will proceed to our main topic which is Malaysia
government initiatives to increase the economic and income per capita. Did you
know about Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) and Government Transformation
Programme (GTP) in Malaysia? Some of you might know and some might not know. Okay,
I’ll tell you a little bit what I have read about it. The Economic
Transformation Program (ETP) is an initiative by Malaysian government to take
Malaysia into a high income economy by the year of 2020. Government
Transformation Programme (GTP) is an effort by Malaysia’s government to address
seven key areas concerning the people of the country. You must have heard about
Vision 2020 right? These two ETP and GTP are something like that. Performance
Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) is responsible to implement and monitor
the ETP and GTP. These are some of Malaysia government initiatives to increase the
economic and income per capita.
The industries that can increase the economic and
income per capita of Malaysia are:

Oh before I forget, you know what is Urban Transformation Centre
(UTC) and Pusat Transformasi Luar Bandar (RTC) right? Please say yes. Because
you can see there’s a few UTC and RTC in Malaysia. I’ve been going to UTC in
Keramat, Pudu and Selayang while for RTC I’ve been to RTC in Perak. These UTC
and RTC are also one of the initiatives that government do to increase the economic
and income per capita.
Okay, back to the industries. I will share about tourism
industries in this post as I love to go for a vacation and it’s one of the
biggest industries which contribute in the increase of economic and income per
capita. What is tourism? Tourism is travel either within domestic or
international for pleasure or business purpose. Under this industries there are
few services, which are transportation, accommodation/hospitality, food &
beverage and attractions.
As I had mention above, Malaysia is well-known as a country
that have various kind of uniques and delicious foods. The most popular one is

Hari Raya Aidilfitri we can eat a lot of Lemang and Rendang. There’re also a
lot of kuih-muih that very delicious. All of these food is one of the attraction that the tourist want to come to our country and increase our economy and income per capita.

Besides, the tourist come to Malaysia also because of our beautiful country which have various island, such as Langkawi Island, Redang Island and Perhentian Island.
There're also many mountain and hill here such as Mount of Kinabalu, Broga Hill and Tabur Hill
